  • Yesterday my friend and I went to Boatyard for happy hour, which runs from 4 to 7 PM. The happy hour menu is definitely worth the price — the calamari was only $9 and came in a generous portion. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the oysters were sweet and fresh. The atmosphere was lovely as well. The only downside was that the place was super busy, and they seemed a bit short-staffed, so the service was slower than expected. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely go back!

  • Was visiting for a conference and this restaurant was within walking distance of the Hilton and Omni hotels. Ordered the Artichoke chops. The sauce was ice cold which dropped the temperature of the flame roasted Articokes which I prefer hot. The sauce wasn't my favorite but the Artichokes were cooked to perfection. We also ordered the Red snapper which was cooked perfect and had great flavor. The other dish was a bolognese which tasted like chef boy-r-de, so stay clear of the red sauce items. Seafood is definitely their niche.

  • Stopped by for lunch after landed in Fort Lauderdale, Boatyard was recommended by our friend living locally. We were greeted with a smile and walked to outside seating as requested. Came our server with menu with little information, we had to read and ordered from menu instead of special of the day. We ordered ceviche, stone crab claws, snow crab claws and 2 margaritas. Ceviche was perfect and crab claws were fresh and great quality, pricey but worth it! The drinks were pricy but weak, and how we wish if our server would smile a bit, it wasn’t even busy afternoon. But the breeze and view of the canal was priceless and so relaxing. All in all, good experience, will come back for dinner sitting outside next time. Thank you for your hospitality.

  • Stopped for brunch before I had to catch a flight. Food, vibe, and service were fantastic. It was surprisingly not busy for a Saturday afternoon (around 1230). Lots of shaded places to sit and multiple bars around the resto. Shout out to our server Natalie who provided excellent service and recommendations. She stayed mindful of my flight but didn't rush us! Also gave some great tips about happy hour!

  • Boatyard Restaurant on the canal — I loved it! The interior is modern with creative design touches. Service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the drinks were spot on. I especially enjoyed my non-alcoholic cocktail. The desserts were simply outstanding! The devil is in the details: bring some small bills if you head to the restroom. You’ll definitely want to tip the attendant who keeps everything immaculate. She even held my sleeves so I wouldn’t get them wet while washing my hands — how amazing is that?! Right across from the restaurant, there’s a large free parking lot, and valet service is also available — perfect if you’re wearing those heels meant only for looking fabulous, not for walking

  • Everything was fabulous. We were seated inside, but with a view of the canal. We ordered from the Chartered Course Selections. We started with the Caesar Salad. Hubs had Surf & Turf. I had the Grouper. Should have returned to try the Paella which has been highly recommended.

  • Such an amazing place, and I’m vegan/vegetarian! The cauliflower dish on the menu intrigued me because we have a place in Pittsburgh (The Lot, in Oakmont) with a similar dish that I absolutely love, and this was equally amazing, along with the Artichoke Chops with Basmati Rice. My BF loved his dishes too of Branzino and Peri-Peri Shrimp. The staff was very friendly and helpful too. We happened to go on a Thursday for happy hour AND ladies night, so the place was pretty busy and great for socializing, with the fire pits going and a DJ playing. Super great place to be and experience.

  • Boatyard is a great spot to welcome your guests to Florida! It has a great atmosphere and different areas within the restaurant offer different vibes depending on your mood. We sat outside which has water views, some fire pits and couches to lounge at with your group. We found some seats at the outside bar with a nice view and lively atmosphere. We had a nice selection of snacks to choose from but ended up spitting an order of shrimp from the happy hour menu and the wagyu bolognese from the regular menu. The shrimp were large and delicious with an interesting presentation. The wagyu bolognese was a good size and even after we split it, we took home leftovers. The happy hour drink list was good and the wine choices were good. They have La Crema on the happy hour menu. The servers were not especially attentive and did not seem to be working well together. We actually waited a bit to order another beverage but decided to leave after waiting over 10 minutes. Overall, the service was fine, food was great, atmosphere is amazing and we have had many a fun evening here so we will definitely be back. I give it a thumbs up for bringing your people here for an intro to South Florida.
